Lose Weight
There is no magic or secret to losing weight. It requires a commitment on your part to change your body, your attitude and your lifestyle. You need to develop a solid exercise and eating program for yourself. If you are already exercising, keep it up and make sure that you are exercising several times per week. If you don't know where to start, check out my beginner's training program . Also, check out my nutritional page for healthy eating ideas. The ideas to losing weight and keeping it off are simple. Motivating yourself to have a permanent lifestyle change that incorporates healthy eating habits and a regular exercise program is what's difficult. If you are struggling to lose weight, start simple. Don't try to crowd yourself with the many ideas out there on how to exercise and eat properly. Start off by getting yourself to exercise most days of the week. Do what you like to do during your exercise time, just make sure you push yourself hard. You're exercising for a reason, so make it count. Once you start to enjoy exercise and have been consistently exercising, you can start to fine tune your workouts so that they further meet your goals. The trick is to start off by exercising anyway you like. The best exercise program is the one you will do. If you would like me to design a personal fitness program for you click here. Controlling the food you eat can also be difficult. Again, start off with simple eating ideas. Don't start counting every protein gram you take in or how many calories you are eating. Eat a variety of foods from each of the four food groups every day. Watch your serving sizes (3oz or 90 grams of meat is the size of a deck of cards). Once you are able to stay in control of the food you eat and avoid desserts and fattening foods, you will be in a better position to further develop your diet.
