Work your abs with this great exercise! Start lying on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Extend your arms past
your head, holding a 4-6lb medicine ball. Keep your back flat and your belly button pulled in towards
your spine. Slowly start to move from the "Start" position to the "Finish" position by keeping your
back straight, your abs tight and your feet on the floor. Exhale your breath.
Finish the exercise when your back is at about a 60 degree angle to the floor. Don't sit all the way up.
Hold the finish position for about half a second. Continue to suck in your abs and keep your back
straight. Return to the starting position slowly, while inhaling your breath. Repeat 15-50 times.
Form is the most important aspect of this exercise. Do as many as you can in perfect form, then take
a short break (eg. 15-30 seconds) and continue with another set or move on to another exercise. To
make this exercise easier, don't use a medicine ball.
